Jet Level
Every electrician needs a level, and the Jet Level has become a favorite for everyone who tries it. It’s no surprise it has become a staple of @spartanheroelectric’s tool kit. It works great and looks even better.
Nick (@spartanheroelectric): I use the jet level, it’s pretty much an everyday carry for rough in, trim work, or when we’re hanging fixtures. It’s got a super strong magnet on it and a nice straight edge. It has four vials for different angles, 0, 30, 45, 90.
It’s a great level, I love that it’s black and sleek, nice level to have in your bags for everyday use.
Electrician’s Combo Belt & Bag
If you’re going to be picking up some new tools, you’re going to need something to carry them in. Our durable electrician’s tool belt is built with the toughest materials and is packed with every feature you could want. Here’s where Nick chooses to carry hand tools like the Jet Level:
Nick (@spartanheroelectric): I usually keep my Jet Level on the left-hand side and one of the inner slot pouches, or inner slots of my Rack-A-Tiers Electrician’s Combo Tool Belt & Bag.

Chip Catcher
One of the most unique Rack-A-Tiers tools is the Chip Catcher. Chip Catcher is a magnetic metal shavings catcher that can be a lifesaver when drilling into panels. You don’t want sharp bits of metal ruining your electrical components and you can’t trust cardboard and a vacuum to keep the panel clean. Here’s how Nick uses the Chip Catcher:
Nick (@spartanheroelectric): Oh, yeah, so I do really love the Chip Catcher for putting half-inch knockouts into the side or top of a panel. That way I can ensure that none of those metal flakes are going to fall onto the busing and cause any flashing or blasting.
It’s got a super strong magnet, and it also has a plastic sleeve that you can remove to get all your chips out, which is a handy feature.
