The Only Wire Strippers You’ll Ever Need!?
We figured the best place to start is with one of our most popular tools every electrician would be happy to have in their tool belt.
Tberryelectric: The best strippers out there. With the V-cutter on them, you’re doing 5-in-1, maybe even more. You have NMD strippers, you have 22 to 12 AWG, and then the V-cutter allows you to get under that sheeting without damaging any of the things that you’re stripping. A lot of people pull out the spring – I love it. You’re not pulling back, opening and closing, it’s got the perfect resistance. And then the glow-in-the-dark handle makes it easy to find if you’re up in a roof or an attic space. You’re not losing them.

Save Your Screwdriver – Use Nut Snugger!
This next tool has been blowing up lately online with more electricians realizing how much time it can save. The Nut Snugger is a magnetic locknut wrench for connectors that are just a bit too far for you to reach by yourself.
Tberryelectric: The Nut Snugger saves your screwdriver from being hit and struck and it helps you get in tight spaces. Not only that it’s got a few different ways that you can use it. You can use it on an impact, you can use it with a wrench, and you can use it with your hand too if you want it.
Rack-A-Tiers: How does it help you out?
Tberryelectric: The magnets on it really help because you’re not struggling to keep that lock nut on in a tight space. It automatically stays on. Give it a couple of spins and you’re going to have a snug nut which is going to give you a good bond every time.
Rack-A-Tiers: What do you use when you don’t have one of these?
Tberryelectric: A slotted screwdriver and a hammer.
Rack-A-Tiers: and how does that work out for you?
Tberryelectric: You wreck a lot of screwdrivers.
The NEW Way to Shim Your Device!
Next up, Tberryelectric explains how the Shim My Box is the perfect quality-of-life upgrade that solves the annoying problem of finding the best way to shim receptacles or switches.
Tberryelectric: We have the easiest way to shim a box perfectly flush here, all you do is take a straw in with you and cut it at the length that you need, which is huge when you have two or three straws in a bag and they last you for 400 boxes. I don’t have an exact number but I’ve had the same four straws, for three years and now I’m down to two.
