The best-selling wire dispenser of all time has been updated, bigger and better than ever. Not just a wire spool holder, the Rack-A-Tiers XL is also a work bench, sawhorse, and pipe vise. This innovative portable wire dispenser is 22” tall and 13” wide, which means it’s rated for reels up to 40” (1m) in size and weights of 500 lbs. (226 kg) – much more than the original Rack-A-Tiers.
The Rack-A-Tiers Original (11455) has sold hundreds of thousands of units since hitting the market in 1995. After years of requests for a larger size, the Rack-A-Tiers XL is finally here. This electrical wire rack is even more versatile than the original Rack-A-Tiers wire dispenser.
Waterproof and rustproof, the Rack-A-Tiers XL electrical wire dispenser is made of the same ultra-durable high-density polyethylene structural foam as the original. Electricians have been using the Rack-A-Tiers cable dispenser for over 26 years – the industry knows how reliable this material is.

- DISPENSE WIRE – Rack-A-Tiers XL are unmatched in their ease and speed of set up as a wire spool rack. With 11 holes, 3 handles, and two ‘V’ notches, this wire dispenser can handle multiple reels of varied sizes and weights making it a tool you’ll want at every job site.
- SAWHORSE – Rack-A-Tiers XL excels as a sawhorse. Simply place the two sides at the appropriate distance to support what you’re cutting. The XL wire dispenser is perfect for cutting lumber and conduit and can be screwed down into the floor for improved stability.
- PIPE VISE – The two ‘V’ notches on the Rack-A-Tiers XL cable dispenser make an excellent ‘pipe vise’ for all sizes of conduit or other irregular shaped materials like steel studs, moldings, angle iron, and strut.
- WORK BENCH – Interlock the Rack-A-Tiers XL to form a convenient seat or work bench. Each Rack-A-Tiers XL base has four 1 3/8” (35 mm) holes and ‘gun sight’ alignment marks for precise drilling. More than just a wire dispenser rack, this tool will always be useful.

The Rack-A-Tiers XL wire dispenser is made of two pieces that snap together for easy transportation. When interlocked, the 3 handles make it easy to carry. The handles and pipe holes allow you to use the Rack XL as a pipe or conduit carrier.
The Rack-A-Tiers XL is an extremely functional electrician tool with many creative uses. The individual Rack-A-Tiers XL pieces can even be attached to a wall to create a small shelf that can support up to 33 lbs.
Compared to overpriced portable wire rack options like jack stands or reel wagons, the Rack-A-Tiers XL is lighter, more durable, and more versatile. Having a dedicated wire dispenser that will last you for years means no more makeshift wire spool holders like milk crates or broomsticks and ladders.
